Welcome – An introduction
Over the last 2 years I have been building a model railway layout in my loft. I hope to write up something that will go into the background of who what when and why, but for now I just want to let you know what this is all about.
This site will feature updates and insights into how my layout started and what I have been working on. I will share the progress and problems I have had and basically keep a record of how things have gone.
In short Loughtbury is a modern N Gauge layout that is still work in progress. Currently all the track work is complete, and I am at a stage where detailing of various areas is still to be done. I hope to add posts giving full information on the layout, rolling stock and some chronological photos showing how the layout, stations and towns all grew.
