Welcome to my website where I can share the progress of my model railway adventures.
In 2020 I built a modern UK N Gauge layout in my loft called “Loughtbury” and this site shows how it was built up from the very first track to lots of detailed photos, customised rolling stock and buildings. As the layout neared completion I moved house which meant the layout had to come to an end.
In 2025 I started building a new layout taking some of the best features of “Loughtbury” but moving to a 1990’s era and DCC with lighting expanding on what I had tried before.
